We Won the 2025 MIT Solve Challenge!

From over 800 applicants to the challenge, Solve selected IMPALA as 1 of 6 winners in the Global Health Challenge category! MIT Solve, backed by supporters like Johnson & Johnson Foundation, Sony, and Gates Foundation empowers innovative technological solutions tackling the world’s most pressing problems.

Our CEO and Founder Niek Vertseegde received the award at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, and also got a chance to pitch IMPALA to 200+ potential investors and partners from top companies like Google and Apple.  As a winner of MIT Solve, we also receive financial, knowledge, and network support, with MIT Solve having already mobilized over $80 million to innovators reaching 330+ million people worldwide.

This award is not just a prize, however, it is also a milestone for GOAL 3. It provides recognition and affirmation of our work and mission of empowering health workers and tackling preventable deaths in places where it is needed most.

We are excited to use this momentum to accelerate our work and get IMPALA into the hands of even more healthcare heroes around the globe.
